“We Three” is a musical group from McMinnville, Ore., who was a recent competitor on America’s Got Talent. They moved the audience and judges with their original songs that cut to the hearts of everyone listening, making it to the semi-final round.

On March  5, George Fox University (GFU) held its first ever Housing Preview Night. Students toured various residence halls and on-campus apartments and houses in preparation for Housing Selection the following week. Prizes, such as succulents and tumblers, were also handed out to the lucky few of who filled out a bingo card.

On March 9, George Fox University (GFU) gained a new Associated Student Community (ASC) team for the 2019-2020 year, with a voting turnout of 1004 students, much more than the previous year, according to current ASC President Bailey Sauls.

During the school year, students usually prioritize their classes, friends, and work. Anything outside those spheres often goes unnoticed. Although an understandable predicament, many fail to realize the effect seemingly unrelated events can have on them. Take Oregon’s newest legislation, for example.

George Fox University (GFU) students may have pay an additional 5 percent on their packages when they return textbooks in the spring.

The first George Fox University (GFU)  swim team wrapped up their first competitive season on Feb. 10, finishing eighth in the Northwest Conference (NWC) Championships.

Before the starting tip off, GFU players Emily Spencer, Lillie Abramson, Hailey Hartney, Haylee Hutzler, and Kylin Collman peeled themselves away from the team huddle and took to the court. Students in Bruin gear sat in the front rows of the bleachers, clutching and waving large face cutouts of individual players. The crowd had never been bigger that season.
